The Sultan Ibrahim Stadium (SSI) is a modern, world-class football venue located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia, and is the proud home of the dominant Johor Darul Ta'zim F.C. (JDT). Opened on February 22, 2020, the stadium is named in honor of the current Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar. With a seating capacity of approximately 40,000, it is distinguished by its unique architectural design, which is inspired by the shape of a banana leaf, a motif symbolizing prosperity. Crucially, the SSI is one of Malaysia's premier facilities, being a football-only stadium with a natural grass pitch built to meet international standards, reflecting JDT's status as a major force in Asian football.

Istana Bukit Serene is the official, Art Deco-style royal palace and residence of the Sultan of Johor in Johor Bahru. Completed in 1939, it features a 35m tower with views of Singapore. Though closed to the public, its grounds and famous Crown Arch are a major landmark.

The Johor Bahru Old Chinese Temple (柔佛古廟), commonly known as the Johor Ancient Temple, is one of the oldest religious structures in the city, with a history dating back to the 1870s. Located in downtown Johor Bahru, it is a significant cultural landmark that symbolizes the unity and harmony among the five main Chinese dialect groups in the region: Teochew, Hokkien, Cantonese, Hakka, and Hainan.

The temple is dedicated to five main deities, with each traditionally associated with one of the five clans. Crucially, the temple is the focal point of the annual Johor Bahru Chingay Parade (known as the "Parade of Deities"), a spectacular, multi-day, city-wide procession held during the first lunar month that attracts hundreds of thousands of participants and is one of the grandest cultural events in Malaysia. Despite its modest size, surrounded by modern skyscrapers, the temple is a well-preserved repository of Chinese heritage, featuring classic architecture and housing relics like a century-old bronze bell.
